Step 6: You should, by now, feel a slight floating sensation. This is the moment to start feeding yourself positive affirmations and instructions. Examples: “I will stop smoking tomorrow” or “I am a successful, confident woman”. Repeat for as long as you intuitively feel necessary.

Step 7: When you are ready, leave your peaceful fantasy area, repeat the affirmations and slowly count to ten. See yourself leaving this place and going back to where you first started.

Step 8: Calm your breathing and slowly open your eyes.
